Time and light are a strange and always newly fascinating thing for me. Much
better than the human eye the camera is able to hold aspects of their going
together and seize and visualize dimensions that would otherwise remain
uncovered. It has always been disturbing to me, that
the duration of over-exposing at daytime is strictly limited by the lenses
and the film material. A few months ago I bought a LOCHKAMERA which enables me
to stretch the exposure for hours.
In the series „rooms“ I try to trace the life of light in the room. Amusing,
that it seems to be superior in force to the roaring family life.
